Ingredient: grapefruit juice

Hemingway Daiquiri This is one of my favorite cocktails.  When blended properly they go down ridiculously fast.  I order even more of them these days because I use them as a litmus test for bartenders.  There are lots of bar owners and restauranteurs that want to appeal to today’s customers but only really put window dressing on a very average bar program.  You will see a full bar menu of exotic named cocktails with even more esoteric ingredients.  Unfortunately it is only gilding.  Scratch past the cocktails on the specialty menu and it is just another bar.  If you are […]
